Josh Carey, a small town carpenter rescued a 12-year old boy named Luke Quinn (played by Ryan Grantham), who had initially shown no signs of life as a result of a drowning accident. The boy’s mother visits the boy in the emergency room, where Josh tries to console the grieving mom. He prays for the boy and he touches him. Luke is subsequently brought back to life, which is viewed upon as a miracle by the hospital staff and the people in the town.
