Tobias Haslinger is a poor dog catcher in Prague, who, ironically, resides on a street named "To Paradise". The street kids hate him and try again and again to rescue the dogs he has caught. One of these street boys is Peter, who has been put into an orphanage by his hard-hearted foster parents. Now Haslinger has caught Peter's dog and when Peter runs away from the orphanage to save his dog, he ends up at Haslinger's, who allows him to overnight in his apartment. The cheeky boy grows on the poor man's heart and together, they'll go through thick and thin.
