Jean-Paul Choppart, 9 and a half years old, son of a bourgeois family, is a dreadful jojo: wicked, thief, and brutal. To escape yet another punishment, he runs away from home. Then begins a long journey of initiation where his wickedness will find himself confronted with the harshness of the real world, which he does not yet know... Based on the book "Les Aventures de Jean-Paul Choppart" (1832) by M. Louis Desnoyers.
