An orphan goes to stay at the house of a rich benefactor and is haunted by two ghostly children. He learns that a gypsy boy and an orphan girl had both been taken-in by his uncle, and that both had mysteriously disappeared. As the apparitions become more frequent, Stephen suspects that something strange happens to children who stay in this house. Part of the BBC A Ghost Story for Christmas series, first broadcast 25 December 1973.
