Count Brankovan is freed from his tomb by his half-witted assistant Kunto. Realizing his plans for revenge would be ruined if he were recognized, the Count adopts a different human mask and poses as the urbane Theo Van Court. The Count receives a box from Transylvania containing the body of a child vampire, whom he revives and pretends is his son. Together the two seek vengeance against those who had earlier tried to destroy Count Brankovan.
